Vera Clinic and Appsilon Enterprise Are Joining Forces: A New Chapter in Surgical Precision

Hair Transplant in Turkey » Vera Clinic and Appsilon Enterprise Are Joining Forces

Something significant is coming to hair transplant surgery, and Vera Clinic will be at the center of it.

Vera Clinic is proud to announce an upcoming strategic collaboration with Appsilon Enterprise, a company whose expertise spans quantum systems, high-precision optics, and aerospace and defense-grade materials. Together, we are preparing to introduce a surgical instrument unlike anything currently used in hair transplant practice.

At the heart of this partnership is a surgical blade engineered from CVD lab-grown diamond, a material that sits at the absolute ceiling of the Mohs hardness scale. What this means in clinical terms is a level of edge longevity, cutting precision, and structural stability that no existing blade material has been able to deliver, until now.

Independent laboratory testing has demonstrated that CVD lab-grown diamond blades maintain their sharpness past 90,000 incisions, compared to the measurable degradation sapphire blades exhibit after approximately 6,000. For surgeons performing thousands of micro-channel incisions per session, this is not a marginal improvement. It is a fundamental shift in what surgical consistency can look like. With the clinical validation process now in its final stages, the collaboration is expected to move into active surgical practice at Vera Clinic between February and April 2026.

Vera Clinic was the first hair transplant clinic in Turkey to adopt sapphire blades in FUE procedures. We are now preparing to be the first clinic in the world to bring CVD lab-grown diamond technology into clinical hair transplant practice. This is a distinction we do not take lightly.

This collaboration has been built at the intersection of two fields of expertise: Appsilon’s materials engineering background, where tolerances are measured in fractions of a millimeter and failure is not an option, and Vera Clinic’s surgical knowledge, accumulated across thousands of real procedures.

We will be sharing full details of the collaboration, the clinical validation process, and the surgical outcomes we are observing in the near future.

This is a development we have been working towards carefully and methodically. When we announce the full results, we believe the hair transplant industry will have a new standard to measure itself against.

Stay tuned.
